The Trees in Hell

And now, for the dangers on picking your paint colors based on a tiny picture in a magazine. I thought the background of the tiny picture of a 4x8 foot panel of painting shown in the magazine was red... but upon closer inspection realized it was actually bright orange. So I matched the color and got bright orange. Not for an 8x4 foot patch of wall, but for two giant walls in my apartment.

And this is how I accidentally painted a mural of the trees in the undying fires of hell.

I am sure I'll paint over this at some point, but not until I figure out what I actually want on this wall... so let's face it, I'm probably going to have a corner of inferno for quite some time. It is probably a good object lesson to keep me from sin.
